Extra-curricular Activities

We provide numerous extracurricular opportunities to students including both academic and non-academic clubs, creative arts and student government to promote personal and social development. Participation in these diverse clubs and organizations provides students an opportunity to acquire leadership, planning, and social skills, as well as build lasting friendships, which are incredibly important to children in foster care. We also use exercise and play as an outlet for a student’s emotions and stress. Indirectly, but just as important, students in our special education program gain an improved body image as well as build their confidence and self-esteem.

Student Government. One of the most widespread types of extracurricular experience available on college campuses is student government.
Athletics. Almost every college and university in the State of Osun offers some type of intercollegiate and intramural athletics.
Academic and Professional Organizations.

Academic major and professional organizations assist their members in acquiring experience in their chosen occupational field and in aiding in the job search.
Volunteer and Service-Related Activities. Volunteer and service-related activities exist to help improve the local and worldwide community, an important goal of extracurricular activities.
Multicultural Activities. Multicultural activities focus on increasing awareness and understanding of various cultures and ethnic and racial backgrounds.
